Welcome to the official website of the Church of God in Flathead Valley. Pictured above are a few of our members, real people of all ages, who love the Lord with all their heart.

Our Church

We are a full-gospel Church, taking the whole Bible as the basis of our teaching and preaching and the New Testament as our rule of faith, our guide to daily living, our pattern of government (Church operation), authority and counsel in upholding Bible truth. We are a small, close-knit congregation, consisting of a handful of families and LOTS of children. Because of the number of children, our Sunday School classes and youth activities are important to us and to our children.

Ultimately, we look to Jesus Christ as our example in all things, for it is He who ordained the Church in the gospels and gave the Church its great commission to go into all the world and teach all nations to observe whatsoever that He taught His own disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:1-20).

Our Programs

We have a number of Bible study groups, which meet both in homes and at the church. These are:

Sunday School - our Sunday School classes meet every Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with classes geared to many different age groups, from the very young to adults. These classes cover many aspects of Bible and include songs and activities for young children. CPMA - This program allows all people to invest in the mission of the Church. Even though a person does not join the Church as a member, they can join the CPMA and receive a card to show that they have supported the evangelistic work of helping us reach our communities with the truth of God's word. WMB - This is our women's missionary group. These are local women who raise money and awareness for foreign missions, to support the missionaries and work of the Church on foreign soil. ABM - a program for helping members of the Church by offering support for daily living, upholding each other through prayer and Bible study. We have both a men's and a women's group that meet separately during the week and provide regular encouragement to one another. VLB - a program for young people and young adults, providing instruction and fun activities that help young people and the people they interact with see the relevance of the Bible and the work of the Church in world today. BTI - a training arm of the Church, providing indepth Bible study at the local level and four two-week terms of intensive Bible training at our Church headquarters in Tennessee. Outreach & Evangelism - This is a program for helping Church members learn how to have a positive influence in our world. Men's camping program - we have recently begun a men's camping program to organize camping outings, in which the men of our church can take their sons out together, provide some basic outdoor education, offer instruction in basic maturity and spiritual leadership, and also enjoy a fun activity together.
